NABIHA wurde 1976 in Deutschland geboren
hat ihre Basis in Würzburg – und arbeitet weltweit.
Sie ist Mitglied bei FREELENS e.V., dem Bundesverband für Bildender KünstlerInnen (BBK),
sowie der VKU (Vereinigung Kunstschaffender Unterfrankens).
1990 kaufte sie ihre erste eigene Spiegelreflexkamera von ihrem gesparten Taschengeld
und begann mit 13 Jahren leidenschaftlich zu fotografieren. Das Schwarz/Weiß FotoLabor in der Schule war ihr zweites Zuhause.
Zwischen 1990 – 1993 hatte sie ihre ersten lokalen Ausstellungen und Portrait-Aufträge und arbeitete nebenbei als DJ.
Später, im Fotografiestudium in Bielefeld ab 1997 und London ab 1999 verbrachte sie Wochen im Farblabor
und lernte zum Beispiel einen Cyan-Stich aus Weiß herauzufiltern – um kurze Zeit danach –
ab 2004 den Übergang von der analogen Fotografie in die digitale Welt mitzuerleben.
NABIHA was born in Germany 1976
is based in Wuerzburg, Germany. She is working worldwide and is a member of
FREELENS e.V., the Federal Association of Artists of the Fine Arts (BBK) and the VKU
(Artists union in Franconia) .
In 1990 she bought her first SLR camera from her saved pocket money
and began to be a passionate photographer at the age of 13. The black and white lab at school
became her second home. Between 1990 and 1993 she exhibited her first works,
had her first portrait photography commissionns and also worked as a DJ.
Later in her studies of photography at the universities in Bielefeld from 1997 and London 1999
she learned how to neutralise a cyan shade in white spending weeks in the colour lab
only to experience the onset of the digital revolution shortly afterwards – around 2004 –
and continue the journey to where we all are now.

Das Künstlerpaar Nabiha & Thom lebt und arbeitet seit 1997 gemeinsam in Deutschland und im Ausland.
Neben vielen Ausstellungen in Deutschland wurden Nabiha & Thoms Arbeiten bereits in Großbritannien, Frankreich, Italien, Österreich, Syrien, Russland, Lettland, Spanien, Kambodscha, Griechenland, China, den USA – und in Indien gezeigt.
The artist couple Nabiha & Thom have been living and working together in Germany and abroad since 1997.
Besides many exhibitions in Germany, Nabiha & Thom´s works were shown in the UK, France, Italy, Austria, Syria, Russia, Latvia, Spain, Cambodia, Greece, China, the USA and in India.
